Importing Media

If you already have video files, music and images that you want to use in your production (for example on your computer’s hard drive, a removable device, etc.), you can import the files directly into CyberLink PowerDirector’s library in the Media Room.

CyberLink PowerDirector supports the following file formats:

Image: JPEG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, PNG

Video: DV-AVI, Windows-AVI, DAT, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, DVR-MS, VOB, VRO, WMV, MOV, MOD, TOD, MPEG-4, MTS, M2TS, JTS, TS, M2T

Audio: MP3, WAV, WMA

Note: the supported file formats depend on the version of CyberLink PowerDirector you have installed on your computer. Check the readme file for detailed versioning information.

Click PowerDirector managel4 Importing Media to import media into the media room’s library, using one of two options:

  • import media files individually.
  • import an entire folder that contains media files you want to use in your current project.
